Mónica Lavandera ha presentado en la VII Semana de la Moda de Valencia su colección Petroleum. Inspirada en este recurso natural, tan codiciado y agresivo para el hombre, la diseñadora quiere mostrar lo natural de este combustible fósil.

Voluminoso, viscoso, brillante, líquido… Muchas son las cualidades de la materia prima que reflejan las prendas de Lavandera. La naturalidad de sus formas y sus pliegues se adaptan al cuerpo de la mujer mediante volúmenes caídos, texturas aterciopeladas y colores naturales. Así mismo la gama de colores del petróleo se utiliza para acompañar al blanco puro como base. Granitos, grises, negros brillantes, marrones fangosos… Toda una gama cromática natural que viste al ser humano dotándolo de movimiento corporal, entre cortes sólidos angulares, volúmenes fluídos colgantes y plieges líquidos veloces.

 

La diseñadora Gallega, presentó su firma Lavandera en el 2006 tras un intensa formación en Moda y Comunicación.
