María Pires presenta su primera colección en el desfile colectivo de la promoción 2006-2010 de la escuela de diseño BAU de Barcelona. La joven diseñadora que trabaja los tejidos como si de esculturas de origami se tratara, apuesta por originales propuestas sobredimensionadas.

María Pires se estrena como diseñadora y se sube a la pasarela para presentar su primera colección de moda. La joven diseñadora cierra así su ciclo formativo en la BAU y se abre paso en la difícil industria de la moda.

Esta colección apuesta por las superposiciones para crear prendas de volúmenes imposibles. Trabajando con la tela como si fuera papel para origami se crean originales formas que dan lugar a prendas sobredimensionadas.

 

El negro se convierte en la apuesta más decidida, a través de mini vestidos y monos. El tie dye también hace acto de presencia y crea efectos deslavados en vestidos y camisetas. Vemos también pantalones jodphur, faldas lápiz, mangas farol y chaquetas cortas.

 

La lana trenzada da lugar a una de las piezas más destacadas de la colección que se completa con un original corchete XXL.
