Alexander McQueen ha desfilado por primera vez en la London Fashion Week Hombre con su colección masculina otoño invierno 2013/14. Bajo una atmósfera decadente se han mostrado prendas de estilo vintage con la sastrería tradicional como punto de partida.

Habitaciones contiguas con techos destartalados han acogido el primer desfile de hombre de la firma inglesa Alexander McQueen en la segunda edición de London Collections: Men, nombre oficial de esta primera Semana de la Moda Masculina. La raya diplomática -esta toma distintas direcciones en los trajes-, el terciopelo y el trabajo de patchwork han destacado en la colección.

La esencia dramática, sello indispensable de la casa, está más que servida. Máscaras de plástico cubren rostros con cabello engominado y ondeante. Los hombros marcados en chaquetas nos absorben en la vorágine creada por el fundador de la firma y de la que no queremos salir.
